You can read some short comments from listeners as well as longer thoughts that Judy's music and life have inspired them to write.

What an awesome testimony, both book and CD. Cool videos were a real treat; the CD is masterful, well designed, well produced! Beautiful music, meaningful lyrics, great layout. A perfect harmony of christian love, exhibited in marriage and family, through the Grace of God...

Thanks so much friends, what a blessing indeed...

[Editor's Note: The "cool videos" come on a DVD released as a bonus on the first printing of Judy's book. The book is on its third printing, but you still might be able to find some copies with the DVD's in some stores.]

Hi Judy,

I was reading some books in Hess Bookstore this afternoon. I didn't pay any attention to the music around, but I just heard a very pure, and spiritual vocal coming from the sound track. I asked the counter "Whose album is it?" She showed me the album, and surprisingly found Lin's daughter - you.

I have so many CDs, but very few of them will I listen carefully from the very beginning till the end. "You are my most beloved" is amazing ! I feel calm in your music. I smell the joy and laughter in those songs. I can feel that you devote your faith and strength into the music, which shows the great love of being a loving daughter, mother and wife.

I am very inspired of the songs. And wish that you may create many more beautiful productions of music to invite more people to come into your world.

Cheers,

Judy, every night my daughter Ellie falls asleep to your first CD, "One." We will be ordering your new one soon. Whenever a song comes up at church, Ellie gets all excited and says, "this is Judy Linton song."

Within a week after you wrote me how I could get Judy's CD, "You Are My Most Beloved," it was playing on my stereo. It is so beautiful! Tears come to my eyes when I hear your daughter Faith sing "I can sing of your love forever" in her guest vocal appearance. So precious!

My tears just cannot stop coming out every time I read the story about Judy. The first time I came across the story of Judy was in the book her parent published at 1984-- Burning Incense Like Always (my translation). In Taiwan in 1993, I bought the book from the bookstore in the university where I taught. I was a senior high school student at the time of the tragedy but I could not recall any of the news regarding the incident! So I was crying as I read the book and finished it in a couple of days. After reading the book, I called her daddy and asked how Judy was doing now. I was very happy when Mr. Lin told me that Judy had become a Christian. Judy's life became part of my family life. Almost every night for a bedtime story, I read my daughter the letter that Mr. Lin wrote Judy.

Editor's NOTE: For half a century in Taiwan the Nationalist Party (KMT) tightly controlled the government and news media under a military dictatorship. There was no freedom of the press and news of the seemingly-political murders of Judy's family members was tightly controlled. Few people were able to learn much about the event. Many Taiwanese such as Mr. Lee strongly identify with this tragedy so that Judy is often called the "Daughter of Taiwan." She hopes with the release of her CD, though, to bring people's focus beyond this past to what has given her hope.
If you are excited to learn more about Judy, please see her book, You Are My Most Beloved released in May 2004 first in Mandarin and then perhaps this fall an English version will be released. But for a brief sketch, check out Judy's testimony to get a glimpse of her life.
When I first heard her CD 'One', I was affected deeply. There is an audible peace of spirit, and trust in the Lord when she sings. I sent many to friends and family. I wanted them to hear this amazing woman, with her simple clear voice, sing of a faith I could only be envious of. I was in a dark pit of dispair, and it was deep, heading steadily towards suicide. It was just a matter of time.

Judy made me think alot, not just because of her voice and songs, but because of her attitude towards life, and towards those around her, especially her family. When I think back on different visits, the words that come to mind to describe her are that she is considerate, speaks wisely, is kind, thoughtful, gentle, peaceful, and quietly joyful. She puts others first, and is a good wife to her husband.

The peaceful part confused me the most. Her life was in constant transition, and her past had been traumatic... (read more)
