Q: 奐均你好： 　　今天下午讀了你的書感覺受益良多，但不知像我這樣一邊看店做生意，一邊照顧小孩的情形下是不是也有可能像你一樣訓練寶寶，還是比較適合全職媽媽? A: 很高興妳寫信給我。  是的, 我想妳仍然能夠一邊做生意一邊訓練孩子的, 妳的小孩幾歲了? 妳有可以讓寶寶在裡面睡覺或玩耍的遊戲床或嬰兒床嗎? 最重要的是，訓練寶寶能樂意地待在遊戲床裡(參考第182-186頁)。也就是說，你把寶寶放在遊戲床裡玩耍或睡覺，在他哭的時候，千萬不要去抱他起來 。你一定要這樣持續一致地堅持下去，態度保持自然，面帶笑容，不要因寶寶的哭鬧而受到影響。不要表現有罪惡感的樣子, 只要繼續的做你原來在做的事。如果妳能完全一致地這樣持續下去，很快地妳的寶寶就能夠好好地在遊戲床裡玩耍和睡覺了。而妳也能夠維持一個好的生活作息。 歡迎妳隨時寫信給我，幫助別人，是我工作中最棒的部分。 Judy (A: So glad you wrote me.  Yes, I think it is still possible for you to train your baby while running your store and business.  How old is your baby?  Do you have a playpen where the baby can take naps?   The important thing is to train the baby to be content in the playpen (see pages 182-186 in my book).  This means that when you put the baby down in the playpen to play or to nap, don't pick him up when he cries.  You must be consistent about this.  Act natural, smile, but don't give into the baby's cries.  Don't look guilty.  Just go on with your business.  If you are  absolutely consistent, you will soon have a baby who will play nicely in the playpen and also sleep nicely in the playpen.  And you will be able to keep a good schedule.)
