奐均小姐您好:
   看到您所寫的“百歲醫師教我的育兒寶典”,心裡非常的高興,我們很想按照書上所寫的時間規劃表幫我女兒調整作息,可是她已滿七個月大了,而且她目前食物泥接受度不高,這樣還來得急嗎?還有她已經養成睡前喝母奶的習慣,若不給她喝,她會哭鬧超過一個小時以上,這樣的情況要如何調整,有沒有很好的辦法改善?我真的覺得很煩惱,半夜時常起來餵奶,已經嚴重睡眠不足了!謝謝您,如你有看到我的mail願你有空可以回信給我,感謝您!

A:  哈囉!
我很高興你已經看了我的書‧讓我提供一些小秘訣:
 
1.  一天三次,在餵母奶前先餵她嬰兒食物,試著三餐之間,間隔五小時,三餐間沒有零食‧盡力讓嬰兒食物的味道嚐起來不錯,可以添加大量的香蕉、木瓜,假使有必要的話,甚至是蜂蜜 (目前你的嬰兒食物裡面有些什麼東西呢?)‧就是試著在餵母乳前,餵食嬰兒食物,很快地你的寶寶應該會吃很多的嬰兒食物(250cc或是兩飯碗),然後,在你已經試過餵她嬰兒食物後,才餵母乳‧
 
2.  你的寶寶晚上應該已經能夠睡超過7小時了,大部分7個月大的寶寶晚上可以睡超過12小時,當她晚餐後開始想睡覺時,就讓她睡,中間不要讓她起來,直到第二天早餐時間(6點或7點)‧晚上就讓她哭,她會沒事的,千萬不要在半夜起來餵母奶‧盡可能地把她放在離你越遠的房間裡,打開電扇或戴上耳塞,不要站在門外聽她哭!不需要擔心她!微笑!做一個自信的母親!假如你下定決心要訓練寶寶,就要貫徹始終如一‧告訴她和你自己,這個新的訓練對整個家庭都很重要‧當你早上抱她起床時,要微笑(不要看起來很難過或有罪惡感的樣子),繼續按照你的作息表來做,假如你始終如一,兩個星期內,你會看到有很好的轉變的‧
 
所以這是幾件需要注意的事:
 
1.  按時間餵食,在餵母奶前先餵她可口的嬰兒食物
2.  不要在任何其他時間餵母奶,只在餵嬰兒食物之後
3.  餵完母乳後,試著跟她玩,以保持她的活動力(除了晚餐之後)
4.  停止在半夜餵奶

I am so glad you have read my book.  Let me offer a few tips:
 
1.  Three times a day, feed her baby food first and then breastmilk.  Try to have five hours in between meals.  No snacks in between.  Try very hard to make your baby food taste good.  Add lots of bananas or papayas or even honey if you must.  (What's in your baby food right now?)  Just keep trying to feed her baby food before breastmilk.  Soon your baby should be eating lots of baby food (500cc or two rice bowls).  After you have tried feeding her baby food, then give her breastmilk.
 
2.   Your baby should be able to sleep over 7 hours of sleep at night.  Most babies on schedule at 7 months old will be sleeping 12 hours at night.  When she gets sleepy after her dinner, put her down to sleep.  And do not go get her until breakfast (6AM or 7AM).  Let her cry at night.  She will be OK.  But DO NOT get up in the middle of the night to feed her breastmilk.  Put her in a room as far away from you as possible.  Turn on the fan or put in some ear plugs.  Don’t stand outside the door and listen to her cry!  Don't worry about her.  Smile.  Be a confident mother.  If you decide to do the training, be CONSISTENT.  Tell her and yourself that this new training is very important for the whole family.  When you get her in the morning, smile (don't look sad or guilty).  And keep to your schedule.  If you are consistent, you’ll see a good change in less than two weeks.
 
So the things to concentrate on are this: 
 
    1)  feeding her yummy baby food on schedule before nursing
    2)  do NOT nurse her any other time but only after baby food
    3)  after nursing, try to play with her and keep her active (except after the last evening meal)
    4)  stop feeding her in the middle of the night.
